OBRA Specialized Services (OBSS)

OBRA Specialized Services provides integrated community-based supports while the individual resides in a nursing facility as required by the Omnibus Reconciliation Act of 1987 (OBRA). Supports and services are similar to State SLS.

To be eligible for services, adults in this program…

  1. Are eighteen (18) years of age or older
  2. Have residency in the State of Colorado
  3. Have been determined to have an intellectual or developmental disability pursuant to the procedures set forth in the Colorado Code of Regulations
  4. Residing in a nursing facility

  • Recreational Facility Fees/Passes
  • Respite
  • Specialized Medical Equipment/Supplies
  • Supported Employment/Job Coaching

  • Transportation
  • Vehicle Modifications
  • Vision
