All donations made to DP stay local and benefit individuals and families in Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert counties.
Contributions support high-impact needs such as:
- Providing respite support for families and caregivers
- Expanding access to therapies and medical services
- Funding assistive technology and home modifications
- Removing transportation barriers so individuals can pursue employment and community involvement
Every donation helps strengthen our local community and improve quality of life for the individuals and families we serve.
Please note that 93% of every donation goes directly to supporting individuals with disabilities in our community. The remaining 7% covers the administrative costs that make our work possible, including credit card fees if you’ve elected to cover them.

Where It’s Needed Most Fund
DP directs your gift to our highest-priority needs; this is the most flexible and impactful way to give.
Direct Assistance Fund
Supports individuals facing financial barriers, such as medical care, therapies, home modifications, and assistive technology not covered by state funding.
Multi-Year Pledge
A multi-year pledge helps ensure continued support for the Direct Assistance Fund and allows you to make a lasting impact over time.
In-Kind Donations
DP appreciates in-kind donations. All gifts are reviewed and evaluated prior to acceptance.
Planned Giving
A bequest or other planned gift creates a lasting legacy and supports the future of DP and the individuals we support.
Matching Gifts — Double Your Impact
Many employers offer matching gift programs that can double charitable contributions made by employees and retirees. Check with your Human Resources department to see whether your company participates in a matching gift program and whether your donation to DP qualifies.
Event Sponsorship
Your support helps make DP appreciation events possible. Sponsorships help fund meals, activities, supplies, and other event experiences for events such as Wellness Days, Appreciation Week, and additional community initiatives throughout the year.
