Funding for I/DD Support in Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert Counties
Developmental Pathways (DP) offers grants, sponsorships, and scholarships to providers and community organizations supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities/delays (I/DD). All funding must directly benefit individuals DP supports in Arapahoe, Douglas, or Elbert counties.
Provider Grants
DP offers two grant types to support provider stability, growth, and innovation.
1. Program Capacity & Development Grants
For planned projects that build capacity, strengthen the workforce, improve quality, or expand programs and services.
Priority Funding Areas:
- Workforce Stabilization
- Service Capacity
- Respite Services
- Urgent Stability

- Complete the Grant Application Questions and Project Budget Template
- Submit your application online here
- The form opens July 1, 2026. Please have all materials ready, as applications must be completed in one session
Fiscal Year 2027 Grant Application Cycles
Cycle: Application Window
Cycle 1: July 1-30, 2026
Cycle 2: September 1-30, 2026
Cycle 3: TBD, based on available funds
2. Urgent Stability Grants
For providers facing urgent financial hardship or risk of closure.
Eligible needs may include:
- Unexpected, one-time urgent or essential operating expenses
- Financial distress that threatens continuity of care
- Crisis situations that put ongoing services at risk

Submit a detailed request via email to CommunitySupports@dpcolo.org. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Sponsorships
Commonly Funded Requests:
- Fundraising and community engagement events
- Program supplies and materials
- Special projects or family/community training
To Apply:
- Complete the FY27 Sponsorship Request Form, and a Community Engagement team member will follow up after review

Scholarship Program
The DP Scholarship Program helps cover costs of approved services or programs offered by community partners for individuals with I/DD in DP’s service area. Funding is paid directly to the provider organization.
