As individuals with disabilities near the age of majority, 18, parent and guardians must make a decision about the type of decision-making options they should choose for their loved one. Guardianship is not the only options and most individuals with disabilities do not need a full guardianship. This workshop will educate parents on the options of Supported Decision-Making Agreements and alternatives with SDM vs. Guardianship.
Our workshops are free for parents, guardians, foster parents, siblings, and family members. The cost for professionals is $10.00 (billed after registration).
