February 20 & 21: Peak Parent Conference on Inclusive Education

Inclusive education is a process of school reform that creates equity in education and increases achievement for ALL students. In inclusive schools students, families, general and special educators, administrators, support staff, and community members work together to make curriculum accessible to all learners and to differentiate instruction. This conference is an excellent development opportunity for all involved in the education and support of students with disabilities, and brings these groups together to learn, collaborate, and focus on strategies that work. AMC Low Sensory Nights

AMC partners with the Autism Society to offer unique movie showings. This program is available on the second and forth Saturday of every month. Click here for more information.

The CCIC is a stand-alone college and career preparedness facility accessible for high school students in the Cherry Creek Schools. With curriculum rooted in real-world skills and trade certifications ranging from the computer sciences to aviation to health sciences, this facility will offer students a new kind of bridge to college and viable, successful careers. The Autism Community Store hosts regular events, including monthly support groups for parents and siblings, informational workshops, holiday parties, and Colorado’s largest Autism Resource Fair.
