Funds Available for I/DD Support in Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert Counties
Developmental Pathways (DP) offers multiple funding opportunities for providers and community organizations supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities/delays (I/DD). Available funding includes sponsorships, scholarships, and provider grants focused on staff capacity, stability, and innovation. All funds must benefit individuals served by DP in Arapahoe, Douglas, or Elbert Counties.
Sponsorship Funding for I/DD Support Programs
Sponsorships are available to organizations serving individuals with I/DD in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties. Funding availability is subject to change and varies each fiscal year.
Sponsorship Funding Requests
Commonly approved sponsorship requests include:

- Fundraising Events
- Community Engagement Events
- Program or event-related organizational supplies and materials
- Special projects or parent/community training initiatives
The average financial request varies but is often in the range of $500 – $3,000 per request.
Apply for a Sponsorship by completing the FY26 Sponsorship Request Form. Once we receive your request, a member of our Community Engagement team will contact you.

Scholarship Program for Individuals with I/DD
The Developmental Pathways Scholarship Program helps cover the cost of services or programs offered through an approved scholarship provider or community partner for individuals with an I/DD living in our service area. Funding is paid directly to organizations that invoice DP for approved services for eligible individuals and families.

Provider Grants for Capacity, Stability, and Innovation
Grants are available to help increase provider stability, and increase provider expansion and innovation capacity to serve people with I/DDs in Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert Counties.

Schedule a Grant Consultation via our scheduler to connect with a team member. We are holding grant consultations to discuss urgent stability needs or grant proposals for the next fiscal year, opening in July 2025.
Fiscal Year 26 (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026) Grant Funding Priority Areas
- Capacity Building: Alleviate provider waitlists and support organizations in fulfilling more RFPs (especially related to day programming, supported employment, Children’s Habilitation Residential Program (CHRP) waiver, and respite).
- Service Expansion: Broaden service times, locations, and populations and/or total number of people served.
- Stability: Address the direct care workforce hiring crisis.
- Mental/Behavioral Health: Enhance access and support

- Submit your application and attachments via the online form (open on July 1, 2025)

Providers may schedule a meeting with our designated grant administrator to request a consultation before submitting a grant.
